Amazon Prime Now Offers 20 Percent Off All Video Game Pre-Orders

on January 12, 2016 2:25 PM

With online retailers becoming more and more prevalent in the video game market, Amazon has made a new move today that may surprise a number of gaming enthusiasts. The online retailer opened a special shop that allows for 20% discounts on all unreleased video games for Prime subscribers.

The offer only applies to physical copies of games (for now) that are purchased up to two weeks out from their release dates. Obviously, many gamers are uncomfortable purchasing and pre-ordering games before launch or being able to read reviews, but pre-order numbers are still high on popular titles.

The discounts for Amazon Prime members are applied at checkout, and a number of the year’s biggest titles for Play Station 4 and Xbox One are now available on the website.
