Since revealing the beautiful line of amiibo figurines that will debut alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Nintendo has also mentioned at numerous points that the amiibo figures will also be compatible with other titles both recently-released and upcoming, such as Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and many others – possibly including one other title that has already released.
In a tweet sent out by the official Nintendo of America Twitter account (but shortly deleted afterwards), the tweet hinted that amiibo figurine support will also be coming to the Wii U-exclusive Hyrule Warriors, which released on the Wii U last month. Specifically, the tweet included a photo of the Link amiibo figurine that will be launching with Wave 1 in November (along side Super Smash Bros. for Wii U), indicating that Link’s figurine will be compatible with the game.
No other details or information was given regarding how the figurines will interact with the game and in what capacity, though speculation does lead that aside from Link’s figurine, it could be possible that other The Legend of Zelda characters, such as Zelda, Sheik, Ganondorf, and more, could also interact with the game through their amiibo figurines.
The amiibo line of figurines will release alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U on November 21st, 2014, and Hyrule Warriors is currently available on Wii U.
