A brand new trailer for upcoming first-person horror-survivor game Metro: Last Light was released today. Metro, which is being developed by 4AGames and published by Deep Silver, has been slated for a May 14th North America release and a May 17th European release on the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

In the trailer, Anna's (She's the Spartan Order of Rangers' top sniper) narration about Artyom (the game's protagonist) serves as a powerful backdrop to the horror-themed elements showcased in the video. Artyom is forced to fight against horrifically mutated animals and humans while desperately trying to survive the constantly collapsing train tunnels of the Metro below Moscow and to bring hope to the remaining survivors.

Metro: Last Light looks very promising, as it features a unique story and genre mix that could really set it a apart from the slew of other first-person shooters this generation.
