One of my biggest guilty pleasure games of last year was Ar Tonelico Qoga, the supposedly last title in the franchise from Gust, which basically was better than the first two titles combined (and a lot of other stuff that came out last year). Luckily, Gust isn't done with the franchise - at least not on the audio side of things.

They are releasing a box set that includes the complete Ar Tonelico Hymmnos concert series spread across six CDs. It isn't just the music, though. You also get a book that details the music, a CD with songs from the Ar Tonelico OVA, a 5.1 channel surround sound mix of some of the music on a DVD, a sample CD of Ciel no Surge music and three new songs sung by Reyvateils. The interesting part is those last three new songs are sung by the Reyvateils that the fans choose, and Gust has set up a site just for such choosing.

You can see below that the three games are split up until six CDs, each game getting two CDs each of audio coverage in this boxed set.

As cool as this whole thing is, it will certainly set you back a pretty penny. Coming in at ¥15,540 (~$195) that may break the bank for some. Still, this is one of the coolest audio releases for a game franchise I've seen in quite some time and will likely be well worth the price for those who wish to import it from Japan once it releases on February 6, 2013.
