ArcheAge Gets a New Area, a Dungeon, an Arena, Mounts and…Racing Cars?

While we wait for a western release date from Trion Worlds, XLGAMES is continuing to update the Korean version of its sandbox MMORPG ArcheAge, and the game is going to get a sizable content patch on May the 22nd.

The update includes a completely new area, a new dungeon designed to be braved by a group of ten players and a new Gauntlet-style 5 vs 5 PvP arena.

There are also new mounts: a black armored panther named Thundersprint and a warhorse named Black Arrow, that will also grant the ability to execute a special mounted charge attack.

The most peculiar addition to the game is a set of three different racing cars. Yes, you heard it correctly…racing cars. They will come with their own racing track set on Mirage Island and seem to be a whole lot of fun.

Below you can see a video showcasing the mew mounts and the cars, and a gallery of screenshots of the new content coming with the update. I have to say that ArcheAge looks better and better with every patch. If you don’t know what the game entails you can check out my beta hands-on preview here.
