Studio Wildcard's open-world survival game, ARK: Survival Evolved, is finally getting an official release. A brand-new launch trailer (below) was unveiled celebrating the end of its development.

ARK: Survival Evolved will include a plethora of interesting crafting options and tons of pre-historic and mythical creatures all within a vast and diverse environment. Players will be able to mount their favorite creatures and explore the open world.

ARK: Survival Evolved initially released in June 2015 as a Steam Early Access game for PC; the Mac and Linux versions of the title followed shortly after. At the time of the survival game's momentous release, it became incredibly popular due to its interesting mix of future technology and its pre-historic world. Even at its unfinished state, ARK: Survival Evolved sold over two million copies in early access deeming it a great feat for Studio Wildcard.

The popular dinosaur-ridden title eventually made its inevitable console debut on Xbox One through the Xbox Game Preview Program in December 2015. Similar to Steam Early Access, the Xbox Game Preview Program allowed players to purchase game's before their official release.

ARK: Survival Evolved made its PlayStation 4 debut in December last year with content exclusive to the platform. The Survivor's Pack, which was included with the game, contained a Giganotosaurus skin and a Manticore armor set.

ARK: Survival Evolved will make its official retail and digital debut on August 29 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and Linux.
