Since its release on Steam Early Access earlier this summer, Ark: Survival Evolved has quickly climbed the bestsellers charts for PC users and become one of the most popular survival games of the year, and a new sales milestone for the game has shown its great success so far.

Speaking in a recent AMA on Reddit, Studio Wildcard co-founder and co-creative director Jesse Rapczak revealed that since its debut on Early Access, Ark: Survival Evolved has now crossed a threshold of over two million in sales on PC, marking an impressive achievement ahead of the game's final release planned for summer 2016.

Initially released for PC on Steam Early Access, Ark: Survival Evolved is also planning a release for Xbox One through the Xbox Game Preview Program early next year, while a PS4 release is also expected in the future.

Ark: Survival Evolved is currently available in early access for PC, Mac, and Linux, while PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are expected to release next year.
