The modified Unreal Engine 3 that powers Batman: Arkham Origins is being sold as one of the biggest improvements in the Arkham franchise. Both the in-game graphics and cinematic cutscenes have received an overhaul thanks to the improved engine. Fans attending the upcoming Montreal Comic-Con will be treated to a behind-the-scenes “deep dive” look at the game’s cinematic cutscenes.

Ben Mattes, Senior Producer on the title, confirmed to fans via Twitter that they are putting the finishing touches on the presentation. He also added that fans should not get their hopes up for any new announcements from the developer, reiterating that the panel would be focusing primarily on behind-the-scenes content.

Batman: Arkham Origins is being developed by Warner Bros. Montreal and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on October 25th, 2013. A Vita/3DS version of the game, Batman: Arkham Origins – Blackgate, is also in development by Armature Studio and will be released on the same day.

The Montreal Comic-Con is scheduled to run from September 13th to the 15th, 2013.
