Playdek has released its first PC game today on Steam in Ascension: Deckbuilding Game, the digital version of Stoneblade Entertainments card game Ascension.

The PC version of Ascension includes the base game plus all five of its expansions (Return of the Fallen, Storm of Souls, Immortal Heroes, Rise of Vigil and Darkness Unleashed) for players to enjoy and play with friends and family. You can also play the game asynchronously online with up to four people that are on PC, Android and/or iOS devices, making it easy to enjoy with someone no matter their platform of choice. There is also built in pass-and-play features to enjoy the game locally as well.

“We’re pleased to bring our first PC game to fans,” said Joel Goodman, CEO of Playdek in an official statement. “PC gamers can now get the same engaging and strategic Ascension experience that mobile users have enjoyed and made the No. 1 deck-building game on iOs.”

Ascension was created by three Magic: The Gathering tournament champions and puts players in the role of the hero Vigil. As Vigil you gather an army powerful enough to defeat the evil Samael the Fallen and his monsters, which is vividly displayed in over 300 hand drawn cards. You can pick up Ascension: Deckbuilding Game for $9.99 on Steam.
