Today, writer Corey May — best known for his work in the Assassin’s Creed series — has announced via Facebook that he has left Certain Affinity (which he left Ubisoft for back in 2015) to take a new position with 2K.
As of right now, it’s unclear what specific role May will have at 2K, or what projects he will be assigned to, but it’s safe to assume it will be one of the publishers more narrative heavy series’, like BioShock, Spec Ops, Borderlands, or Mafia.
For those that don’t know: May worked as the lead writer on Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II, and Assassin’s Creed III. He also aided Jeffrey Yohalem as a writer on Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, as well as Darby McDevitt on Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
May has also co-written for video games such as Army of Two, as well for Rocksteady’s Batman series and Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia series.
