Assassin’s Creed III Celebrates the Fourth of July With a Live Action Trailer

on July 4, 2012 1:00 PM

Today is Independence Day, and while the majority of my colleagues are eating barbecue and lounging under the sun Ubisoft decided to celebrate the Fourth of July with a new Assassin’s Creed III live action trailer.

The video focuses very heavily on the ideals of the American patriots, giving us a glimpse on what may have pushed some of them into action.

It’s funny how Ubisoft stubbornly denies that the game will lean towards the American side, considering how strongly its marketing does. I sure didn’t see a redcoat-themed trailer to celebrate Her Majesty’s jubilee…

It’s even more funny considering that there would be absolutely nothing wrong if Connor actually decided to take sides.

In any case, you can check the trailer below, and happy Fourth of July from across the pond.
