Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Gets its First Trailers, Artwork and Screenshots

on March 4, 2013 9:12 AM

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has been officially unveiled today, and as an appetizer we got two trailers of the upcoming game and quite a few screenshots and pieces of artwork.

If you expected gameplay footage, it’s a tad too early for that (even if the screenshots provide a glimpse), but there’s plenty of cinematics to enjoy in the first story trailer and in the second dedicated to the protagonist – Captain Edward Kenway – that happens to be Connor’s grandfather.

The game will not feature Desmond at all (at long last), and will include fifty different locations to visit, also bringing back naval combat in a revised and improved version.

But without further ado, I leave you with the assets. There’s quite a lot to enjoy just below. The game will be released on October the 29th for PS4, PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U, even if the “next generation consoles” mention may mean that a NextBox version may also come whenever the still unnamed console will see the light.
