It's already a busy year for Ubisoft, with Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag releasing this year and three more Creed games in the works. One would think they would have their hands full; but not Ubisoft. It was recently announced that both a tie-in Black Flag novel (published by Penguin Books) and an art book (published by Titan Books) are the works.

The new Assassin’s Creed novel, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag is set in a time when greed, ambition and corruption overcomes all loyalties and Edward Kenway is making his name known for being one of the greatest pirates of his time.

The new Assassin’s Creed art book, The Art of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, will expand upon the harsh new setting in the Golden Age of pirates. With intricately detailed environments and finely honed and evocative historical re-imaginings, this is a world into which you can immerse yourself and feel the echoes of the past come to life. A special slipcase edition will also be available, limited to 500 copies and including two exclusive Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag concept art prints, signed by the artists.

The novel will be available November 26th, while the art book is releasing earlier on October 28th. The game will release October 29th and will be available for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and the Xbox 360. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are also in development, but no release dates have been announced yet.
