Today Ubisoft announced the official release date for Assassin's Creed: Rogue on the PC, some five month after it debuted on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Along with the trailer, release date and system requirements, the publisher released a couple of new screenshots for eager players to pour over as they anticipate the upcoming release.

You can check out the two new screenshots down below, the first of which shows off a historic New York City that's still very much in its formative years. Oh, there's also a great big eagle taking up a large chunk of the images real-estate. Great for bird lovers I suppose.

The second screenshot gives players a glimpse of the naval aspect to the game, because who doesn't love sailing the seven seas (or just some of them,) whilst donning a wicked Templar hoody?
