Ubisoft finally revealed the release date for the PC version of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed installment, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, and it's coming in less than a month after the PS4 and Xbox One.

Ubisoft didn't want to leave people speculating on why it will come a month after the original release, so Sam Kovalev, Studio Production Manager at Ubisoft Kiev, explained the delay as a necessary measurement to ensure the best and most stable experience.

“We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilizing and optimizing the PC version very early on in the project,” says Kovalev. “This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year.”

“The additional four weeks are for us to really bear down and finalize all of the polish and optimization, to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches, so it runs smoothly for all players starting on day one,” explains Kovalev.

He also revealed that there won't be any FPS  and resolution locks for the PC version and that they are targeting "1080p and 30 FPS" as a performance for the recommended settings.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate releases on October 23 for the PS4 and Xbox One, and on November 19 for the PC.
