After the release of the Assassin’s Creed film late last year, it seems that Ubisoft isn’t quite finished with using one of its most recognizable franchises for cinematic spin-offs.

Assassin’s Creed Head of Content Ymar Azaiza was recently in an AMA thread on Reddit when he revealed that Ubisoft has plans to produce a television series set in the franchise’s universe. Besides noting “We will take our time to get sure we deliver something we can be proud of,” nothing else was said on the topic.

Ubisoft has not yet confirmed such, but it’s possible that this series may be the product of Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot’s discussions with Netflix last year. In addition to where the series will air, we’re still full of questions about who will produce the project, what storyline (if any of the established ones) it will utilize as source material, and when the series will be released.
