There has been a lot of controversy on the fact that Assassin's Creed Unity will run in 900p resolution on both PS4 and Xbox One, but apparently Ubisoft is sticking to its guns, and has words of high praise for the game's visuals.

In the financial documents released today the titanic publisher has absolutely no qualm in using superlatives, calling the upcoming Paris-focused open world romp "The most beautiful game ever created by Ubisoft."

Having seen it in action, it's hard to deny that Assassin's Creed Unity is absolutely spectacular, and one of the best looking games to grace consoles (I still haven't seen the PC version, so I can't testify on that front). Resolution is definitely a relevant topic, but it definitely isn't the only factor dictating a game's beauty.
