Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection Gets New Update; Removes Infamous “Weird NPC Face”

As one of the best story arcs from the Assassin’s Creed series, The Ezio Collection brought players back into the world of Ezio Auditore da Firenze with the remastered releases on PS4 and Xbox One, with a new update bringing an update to some unexpected mishaps with one of the game’s NPCs.

A new update has gone live for Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection on PS4 and Xbox One, with the only main changes being a mix for background music at one point in the game, and fixing an infamous NPC that had an unfortunate “makeover” in the new remastered version. RIP, “Weird NPC Face.”

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is available now for PS4 and Xbox One – the full patch notes for Update 1.02 can be found below:

  • #Visual – *FIXED – A weird NPC face appears in Assassin’s Creed 2 Sequence 1, Memory 1

  • #Sounds – *FIXED – Background music stops after performing a synchronization on a view point in Assassin’s Creed 2
