Spike Chunsoft announced that they will be developing Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates for the Nintendo 3DS.

Little is known about the game so far, but it's to a be a sequel to 2015's Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains.

During Humanity in Chains, players were about to choose from several characters in the series, and customize their appearance and load outs. In addition, players would cooperate with teammates to take down large titans.

The game featured four-play online co-op, and support for the new 3DS system's C-stick, which definitely came in handy.

Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates is set to launch in 2017 in Japan, no western release confirmed at this time.
