Many wondered why a game like Attack on Titan doesn't have co-op. Well, it will, as announced today by Producer Hisashi Koinuma during an official Koei Tecmo-hosted livestream on Nico Nico.

A four player co-op mode will be added on March 24th via free update, which will also include ten different new features, one of which are titan decorations that can be added to the player's base, as you can see below.

Koei Tecmo also announced a pretty packed DLC schedule.

On February 18th, New Year-themed costumes and equipment will be released. On February 25th, we'll get three new episodes and another costume set themed after summer festivals. On March 3rd, three more episodes and a Halloween-themed costume set will be released. On March 10th, a Christmas-themed costume set and three further episodes will be released. Lastly, on March 17th, there will be three DLC, one with sixteen costumes, one with four weapons and one with nine episodes. Basically, they will include all the previously released content.

Yes. Nothing says "humanity is risking to go extinct" like celebrating Christmas in March.
