Avengers Concept Artist Working on Indie Game, MechRunner, Coming to the PC, PS4, and PS Vita This Summer

Spark Plug Games, an indie game developer, announced that their new game, MechRunner, will be available on the PC via Steam, PS4, and the PS Vita this summer, adding yet another title to the handheld console list due to come out this year.

The development studio has also collaborated with concept artist Josh Nizzi of the Avengers, Iron Man, and Transformer films. Vice president and art director for Spark Plug, Ben Lichius, says that:

I think we have some of the most detailed, amazing looking mechs to ever appear in a video game.

There’s also a new Kickstarter in place through May 16th that is asking for help funding extra content they wish to add before the launch including more polished bosses and levels, more story-based content, the hiring of professional voice actors, and being able to optimize all available game platforms.
