Aviary Puts Videogames in Real Life

If you’re a image processing nerd like me, you’re probably already aware of Aviary. It’s basically a web-based suite of great imaging tools, all of which is usable for free. It’s pretty powerful stuff, and artist Aled Lewis put those tools through their paces in creating this series of videogames in real life images.

It’s pretty boss stuff, not at all the kind of copy / paste easymode stuff that some artists get away with. Definitely some good shadowing and color correction action going on here. Check out the full gallery after the break.
