Ronimo's awesome 2D MOBA Awesomenauts Assemble! will be getting a breath of fresh air very soon thanks to an incoming patch intended to resolve a few of the game's problems and bring it more in line with the PC edition.

Fans of the PS4 MOBA have been waiting for months to receive the promised update which has gone through a bit of turmoil with Sony's stringent testing process where it failed the first time around.

Thankfully the wait is almost up as the 1.3 update has been certified and a release date of March 18th has been set for the patch to be deployed, providing no more problems arise.

The 1.3 patch will bring a new free character for players to compete with as well as a few tweaks to the way the game plays by nerfing and buffing characters as appropriate, though it will be omitting some of the PC version's features deliberately.

For the time being Awesomenauts Assemble! is only available on PC and PS4, though an Xbox One release has been confirmed, albeit without a solid release window.
