Azure Striker Gunvolt Surmounts 160,000 Downloads on Nintendo 3DS

Developer Inti Creates has officially revealed that Azure Striker Gunvolt, the 2D action-platformer loosely based around Mega Man, has sold 160,000 copies on Nintendo 3DS alone. The game launched late August 2014 exclusively on Nintendo 3DS, before later being released on PC. No word was give regarding how the game has performend on Steam.

This success is good news for the series, which has already announced plans for Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 coming Summer 2016. In the meantime, Inti Creates is splitting their efforts across games such as Mighty No. 9Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.
