Bandai acquired the rights to make an Izanagi figure several months ago, but now we're finally getting to see their full product. This figure, part of their D-Arts line, is a fully pose-able figure of the main character's first Persona from Persona 4, with only one accessory: his sword. The figure's going to come out this December, but there's no price or pre-order info up yet.

I've seen a few garage kits of Izanagi before, but it's great to see a manufacturer finally making a full release for him. It's also good to see more Persona figures that aren't Aigis. I love Aigis and all (and I adore the Shigenori Soejima Artworks Aigis that Alter announced at Wonderfest), but, honestly, at this point there are more than enough figures of her, and there aren't nearly enough ones of other Persona characters. (Can someone make a Chie or a Souji or a Naoto figure already?)
