Bandai Namco recently revealed a teaser trailer for their upcoming game Little Nightmares, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Now, the publisher has announced at Gamescom 2016 that Little Nightmares is set to be released spring 2017. Additionally, a new trailer has been released showing off gameplay mechanics.

Bandai Namco details the game further:

The Maw arrives every year. Always at the same time, but never in the same place, it creeps and crawls and buries its claws deep beneath the glistening water. And there it sits in vast silence. Waiting.

Soon after, they start to arrive. The guests. The monstrous, sweating, hungry guests. All seams bursting, bodies bulging, eyes dead with boredom. They shuffle up the gangway and into the mouth of The Maw. And then they are no more.

For none of those that enter have ever returned to tell the tale. At least, not yet…

Immerse yourself in Little Nightmares, a dark whimsical tale that will confront you with your childhood fears as you help Six escape The Maw—a vast, mysterious vessel inhabited by corrupted souls looking for their next meal.
