Batgirl DLC Coming to Batman: Arkham Knight Later This Month

on July 3, 2015 10:49 AM

Anyone wanting to play as the bad-ass Batgirl won’t have to wait long. Batgirl: A Matter of Family is heading to Batman: Arkham beginning July 14.

This is the first time Batgirl has been playable in the Arkham franchise. A Matter of Family takes place years before the events of Arkham Knight when Barbara Gordon fought crime as Batgirl and not super-hacker, Oracle. Robin too will be making an appearance for some Dual Play action in an entirely new location with new missions and side-quests.

One interesting side-note is that this DLC is being done by Warner Bros. Montreal, the same studio behind Batman: Arkham Origins. The rest of the Season Pass DLC with be done by Rocksteady Studios.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family comes out July 14 for anyone for purchased the the Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass. Everyone else will have to wait until July 21 to buy it seperately.
