The last time I saw Mr. Freeze, Arnold Schwarzenegger had butchered the character with his unforgivably thick accent, cheesy lines, and glittery blue skin. After that mishap, the Mr. Freeze character crawled into the darkest alleys of Gotham City to slumber away the ridicule that he had been exposed to. The poor bastard silently sat in the bowels of his own depression as he concocted a plan for his triumphant return -- a return that would mark his true bad-assness, and avenge the disgusting misrepresentation done by the Austrian juicer.

His return, and his bad-assness, has been justified in Rocksteady's upcoming Batman: Arkham City, as Mr. Freeze is revealed as one of the game's villains that Batman has to overcome. After the jump, you will have access to an exciting trailer showing off the cold villain, and a little info about who Mr. Freeze actually is.

Dr. Victor Fries (pronounced "Freeze") was quite a cryogenics expert. A brilliant man whose life change completely in order to dedicate himself to avenging his beloved wife Nora, while becoming one of Batman's most deadliest foes. His insanity stems from the death of his wife, who was placed in suspended animation|cryo-stasis while he found a cure for a disease she had acquired prior.

Below is a video introducing the newest addition -- Mr. Freeze -- to Arkham City's arsenal of villains. A great video that displays the challenges awaiting the Dark Knight.
