Batman knows how to make things difficult for his criminal enemies, but with the new modes and offerings being brought to Batman: Arkham Origins, it looks like players are not going to get off that easy either.

Speaking with Eurogamer in an interview, Batman: Arkham Origins' producer Guillaume Voghel revealed some details on new modes and just what to expect with the newest entry in Batman's crazy Arkham adventures. Specifically, Voghel mentioned and talked about the new "I Am The Night Mode," a new extra-hard difficulty setting that will be unlocked once a player has completed both the main game and the New Game Plus mode afterward.

So, what exactly does "I Am The Night Mode" entail? According to Voghel - no saves and only one life, as he explains in the interview:

"The main narrative arc and side missions last about 12 hours, and then you have all the collectibles. To get 100 per cent of that will take much, much longer. We have a new difficulty level, New Game Plus is coming back - that's really difficult - and when you're with that there's I Am The Night Mode - which is no saves and one life."

So, are you ready to take on the challenge as Batman and become the night? You'll get to find out soon.

Batman: Arkham Origins releases on October 25th, 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC, with the handheld version, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, releasing on 3DS and PS Vita on the same date.
