Battlefield 1: Watch an Extremely Deep Analysis of the Trailer: Uniforms; Vehicles and Weapons

Whenever I talk about Battlefield 1, including yesterday’s Shockcast, I pretty much always advise to watch the YouTube channel The Great War if you want to learn more about the game’s World War I setting.

The great news is that Indy Neidell and his crew just released a special episode analyzing the trailer in great detail, and gauging the historical accuracy of elements like uniforms, vehicles, weapons and settings.

It’s an extremely interesting watch, especially paired with the work of another great YouTube channel, C&Rsenal, that discusses in detail the weapons of the trailer, also showing them in action.

You can see both videos below, alongside the full main Playlist of The Great War. I spent inordinate amount of time watching it, and if you want to learn more about World War I before you live DICE’s version of it in the game, you can find few ways that are as interesting and entertaining at the same time.
