Battlefield 3’s Pre-order Numbers are Ten Times Higher than Bad Company 2’s

EA has revealed that the pre-order figures for their upcoming FPS Battlefield 3 are pretty high. While they haven’t dropped any actual numbers, the amount of orders is more than ten times greater than the number received for the last Battlefield game, Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Additionally, Bad Company 2 has recently cleared nine million sold copies, which is freaking crazy.

The amount of pre-orders BF3 has received is extremely significant. Imagine if the total sales for the game performed that well in comparison to Bad Company 2. We’ll find out on October 28th when Battlefield 3 launches for HD consoles and the PC.
