Apparently the embargo for posting gameplay videos of Battlefield 4's Xbox One and PS4 versions has just been lifted, and Youtube has been hit by a few high resolution gameplay clips showing exactly what many have been wanted to see for a while: how the coveted new FPS by EA DICE looks on next generation consoles.

Below you can check out the first videos I managed to find, by Youtube users jackfrags and VikkstarPlays. The game looks quite good and smooth in both incarnations, even if the now confirmed difference in native resolution (900p on PS4 and 720p on Xbox One) shows a little bit, if you squint a lot.

But I'll let you decide on which one is your favorite. Interestingly enough, looks like only multiplayer videos for the PS4 version were published, while only single player clips for the Xbox One version are available so far. Something tells me it's on purpose to dodge direct comparisons.

For reference you can also find a video of the Xbox 360 version by GamesHQMedia at the bottom, if you want to compare the next generation with the old one.
