Battlefield 4 Rolls Out Exclusive Beta Today Across PC, Xbox 360, and PS3

Roll out: it’s time to head on out to the Battlefield.

In advance of the game’s release later this month, EA has begun rolling out its exclusive beta for Battlefield 4 starting today, with the beta launching across the current-gen versions of the game for Xbox 360 and PS3, as well as PC, for those with invites to this beta period. Afterward, the open beta portion that is available to the general public will be available later this week on Friday, October 4th.

In a tweet on the official Battlefield Twitter account, EA and Dice revealed the release times that you can expect the beta to be released across all three of the platforms today:

Exclusive Beta Rollout Times (October 1st):
PC: Live now!
Xbox 360 world-wide: 2-6 AM PDT
PlayStation 3 (Europe): 7-11 AM PDT
PlayStation 3 (US): 3-7 PM PDT

Note, release times for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are controlled by Microsoft and Sony, respectively. The beta will be available within the range or times above, per console.

Open Beta Rollout Times (October 4th):
PC: 1 AM PDT/9 AM UTC
Xbox 360 world-wide: 2-6 AM PDT
PlayStation 3 (Europe): 7-11 AM PDT
PlayStation 3 (US): 11 AM PDT
