EA is preparing to start the Battlfield: Hardline open beta, revealing new details about the upcoming testing today on the game’s official website.
The upcoming open beta will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, giving access to all the platforms Battlefield: Hardline will be distributed on. Two game modes will be available during the testing, the new Hotwire mode that revolves around high speed chases as the criminals try to hold onto tagged vehicles and the classic 64-player point control Conquest mode. There will be no cap on player progression during this beta, letting you unlock as much of the game as you want to see while you have access to testing.
Presently there is no set time frame for when the beta testing will begin, but the developers do want you to “play this beta to death” to make sure everything is stable for launch. Battlefield: Hardline is set to release on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on March 17th.
