While most military shooters in this day and age are known for their gritty realism and heavy subjects, EA and Visceral Games seem to be eschewing that a bit with their upcoming new title Battlefield: Hardline - case in point, being able to ride a deadly sofa.

In a new video posted by the YouTube channel jackfrags, the video uncovers one more of the many bizarre Easter eggs that already seem to be making their way into the latest iteration of the Battlefield series, with the latest being a secret couch that players can ride with up to three of their buddies hopping in for the ride.

Called "The American Dream," the couch is located as an Easter Egg on one of the game's online maps - able to hold up to four players at once, the couch also happens to be the fastest vehicle in the entire game (go figure). In a humorous twist, players can also run over and kill players with the couch - specifically though, when doing so, the kill feed shows the couch kill as being killed by "MERICA."

The video shows that the couch can be found in the Hotwire mode of Battlefield: Hardline, specifically on the Dust Bowl map. Its location will spawn in a variety of different areas on the map for one-time only, so once the couch is destroyed or lost, unfortunately it will be lost for the duration of that map. On the plus side though, the repair tool is usable for players to repair it and...well...go couch--surfing once more.

Battlefield: Hardline will release for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 17th, 2015 - you can check out the video below for a look at how to live "The American Dream" and drive your own sofa below:
