Battletech nerds rejoice! Harebrained Schemes’s Kickstarter campaign, mixed with additional pledging via PayPal, just managed to overtake 2.5 million dollars in crowd funding for the upcoming tactical game.

This means that the PvP stretch goal is now unlocked, with 25 hours to go on the campaign. According to the developer, any additional funding will go towards polishing the game, and the creation of a live team that will add post-launch patches including co-op.

If you want to contribute to the campaign, you can find the Kickstarter page here.

Full Disclosure: The author of this article is also a backer of the Kickstarter campaign. As a matter of fact, he backed it before his brain even registered that the campaign was open. He’s a big BattleTech nerd, and proud of it.
