Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians Tells its Tale Through An Eclectic Mix of Musicians

THREAKS, a German indie development studio currently working alongside Reverb Publishing on their downloadable title Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians, has announced quite a powerhouse lineup of musicians to score their upcoming immersive (and submerging) action-adventure title.

Beatbuddy focuses on the adventures of a mystical blue creature that, after being awoken from an eternal sleep, must utilize the power of music to save his home-world of Symphonia, and solving numerous puzzles and challenges along the way.

Along the way, Beatbuddy implements its score and music into the game and its challenges, as in-game animations and actions will coincide with the music as the player progresses through each level.

As music so heavily factors into the game, THREAKS has assembled a unique team of musicians to provide the score to Beatbuddy, including Austin Wintory, composer of the soundtrack to last year’s PSN wonder, Journey.

Composers that will be contributing to Beatbuddy‘s eclectic score includes Europa Deep, Curtis Newton, Sabrepulse, La Rochelle Band, Parov Stelar, and Austin Wintory.

Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians will release on Steam for $14.99 on August 6th, 2013.
