Beautiful Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst Art Shows Futuristic Hall in the Elysium Tower

At Siggraph 2015, EA DICE Showcased a new piece of rather lovely concept artwork of the upcoming Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst during the “Stochastic Screen-Space Reflections” talk by Tomasz Stachowiak.

The art, that you can see below, served as inspiration for the beautiful screen-space reflections effect developed for Frostbite and used extensively in the game. It portrays a futuristic hall in the tower belonging to Elysium corporation.

The game definitely looks great as a result, but it isn’t just due to its looks that it grabbed our DualShockers¬†Award for best action-adventure at Gamescom.
