Because the Japanese are Cooler than Us, they Get Two Special Edition DualShock 3 Controllers

To commemorate the upcoming releases of Uncharted 3 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD (it isn’t included in the Japanese version of the MGS HD Collection) Sony has crafted two specially designed DualShock 3 controllers. While neither of them are particularly gorgeous, I’m a fan of the Uncharted 3 ¬†DualShock and it’s gold look. The camo DualShock is passable.

The controllers are quite pricey though. The camo DS costs 5,500 yen or, the Japanese equivalent of about $70. The Uncharted DS is nearly ten thousand yen and in the ball park of about $130 USD. Wow. The Uncharted stick launches on November 2nd and the camo stick launches on November 17th. Both are Japan only, so import to your heart’s content.¬†
