Koei Tecmo just updated the official website of the upcoming Berserk Musou by Koei Tecmo, that for now is tentatively named simply “Berserk” for the western market. The update included new information and direct feed screenshots.

First of all, we get to see a new playable character, Nosferatu Zodd, a legendary mercenary said to be immortal. Like other Apostles, he wander the battlefields in search of formidable enemies to fight. He has grown an interest in Guts after their battle.

We also get to see transformations. When certain characters exceed their limits and draw into their inner strength, they change form. Both their attack power and speed are improved. They can also devastate many enemies in one fell swoop. Two examples for this are Guts with the Berserker Armor and Zodd.

Lastly, we also see a few small screenshots from the Falcon of the Millennium Empire Arc, which will be the last arc covered by the game..

The game has recently been delayed in Japan to October 27th for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita and is scheduled to release worldwide this fall, losing the PS3 version and getting one on Steam.
