The King of Kong himself, Billy Mitchell is recognized in the latest Donkey Kong title. Donkey Kong Country Returns is full of subtle references to all things Nintendo, and this could be one of the best. As you can see above, Billy Mitchell's tie is clearly shown in stage 3-2. I guess this is only appropriate; one of the best Donkey Kong players of all time (if not the best) deserves to be in one of the best 2D platformers of this generation.
