BioShock 2 Multiplayer Woes

on February 11, 2010 11:25 AM

Joystiq has received numerous reports from BioShock 2 players who have reported game-crashing bugs on the multiplayer option of the game. The issue itself has yet to be pinpointed specifically, but the biggest issue is the constant freezes players are experiencing – which have been reported to occur during port-game recaps, to even freezes occurring as players idly wait in their apartment hubs, as some Xbox 360 players have already experienced.

We’re not going to sit here and thrash 2K nor “insert console here” for the issues that players are currently experiencing. Every game has its quirks when they first hit store shelves; we just want to see how hastily 2K responds to this issue, which I’m pretty sure they will address sooner or later. Bioshock 2 has been receiving a fair amount of praise from just about everyone I talked to who has played the game. Let’s hope that this bug currently plaguing the game doesn’t change the minds of some – we all know how some gamers get.
