on March 2, 2017 10:28 AM

Yesterday, BioWare cancelled the multiplayer tech test for Mass Effect: Andromeda that it announced back in November of last year. At the time, it didn’t provide a reason as to why it made this decision. That has since changed.

Producer Fernando Melo took to Twitter, and provided the following tweets explaining why the test was cancelled:

Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to be at PAX East, which runs March 10th through the 12th. Here, players will have the chance to play the game’s multiplayer. Additionally, if you’re a fancy EA/Origin Access subscribers you can play the multiplayer as early as March 16th.

Mass Effect: Andromeda releases March 21, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
