After some rumblings, Nintendo has confirmed that North America will be receiving a black version of the 3DS XL.

The “new” 3DS XL will be released on August 11, six months after its Japanese release. The release will coincide with the release of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

Not interested in black? Gamers can still pick up a red, blue, or pink version for $199.99.
