Black Desert Online Gets New Over-the-Top Costumes in Korea

If there is one thing that surprised me when playing Black Desert Online is how much people love costumes. Considering that they cost almost thirty bucks, you’d expect them to be fairly rare. Only, they’re all over the place, and every time that there’s a new patch, I know quite a few people who are more eager to know what new costumes it introduced than to hear about new features.

I guess the microtransaction trend started ten years ago by Oblivion’s horse armor inevitably turned us all into digital fashion victims.

Pearl Abyss released a new batch of costumes in Korea, which means that the European and North American servers are going to get them as well down the line. As usual, they’re fairly over the tip, but very, very detailed. At least they aren’t selling rags for that price.
