Black Desert Online Reaches “Well Over One Million Players”

on July 19, 2016 6:20 PM

Kakao Games announced today via press release that Black Desert Online has reached “well over one million players.”

The game was launched in North America and Europe on March 3rd, adopting a buy to play model similar to Guild Wars 2, supported by a cash shop, but providing all of its sizable expansions for free.

That’s certainly quite the achievement for a game that was under the radar for most just a few months before its release. It’ll certainly be interesting to see how it will perform in the future and whether it’ll maintain its momentum.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game and want to try it out for free, we still have 7 day guest passes that you can find at our giveaway page.
