Blackbird Interactive, the developer behind Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, has provided fans with a bit of tease/glimpse of its next project via a few new pictures on its Facebook page.

As you can see for yourself at the bottom of the article, the three new images show three futuristic planes in the sky, and perhaps suggest some type of aerial combat will be in the game. Just going off three pictures its hard to really dig much more information out, what can be said, is the planes don't scream a Homeworld game to me, but they don't particularly look they would look too much out of place either. I suppose that's the point of a tease, you're not supposed to be able to really tell anything from it, you're just supposed to get excited.

Notably, some Facebook users pointed the similarity of the skull motif that is used by the Skull Squadron in Robotech/Macross, but to this a developer replied with a good ol' chuckle.

Whatever it is, I'm guessing we will be getting more information relatively soon. Below, you can check out the three new images:
