In the newest developer diary for Zombie Studio's Blacklight: Tango Down, the focus is on the game's incredibly in-depth weapon customization system. These customization options provide the gamer with many ways to humiliate their opponents.

The guns themselves are like a players personal signature, with so many options the goal is that no two guns are the same. To start off there are six core weapons including an SMG, shotgun, sniper rifle and assault rifle. Each gun will have around “25 different weapon attributes” that players will be able to customize based on personal tastes.

In an effort to try to keep the game as realistic as possible, developers at Zombie gave each attribute a function and realistic pros and cons. For instance, weapon magazines can be customized and while a larger magazine will grant more bullets, it will also slow the weapons reload speed.

To further add a personal touch to your weapon, players can add trinkets. These are similar to those available for cell phones. Each trinket also carries a small perk that augments the weapon in some way.

So if you are looking for a new way to mow down your friends online, check out Blacklight: Tango Down which is scheduled to release later this summer for PC, PSN and XBLA and will set you back about 15 dollars.
