on December 1, 2011 9:00 PM

European BlazBlue fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the next installment in the celebrated series. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend will launch in the first quarter of next year for PS3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita. Just in case you’ve forgotten, let me remind you of the slew of new additions to Extend from BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2: all three of the previously released DLC characters (Platinum the Trinity, Makoto Nanaya, Valkenhayn Hellsing), newcomer Relius Clover, new game modes (Abyss and Unlimited Mars), team battles featuring 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and handicapped matches, and a surplus of offline and online content. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is set to be the consummate BlazBlue release for both new players and BB vets.
