Deletion will soon no longer spell the end for player characters in World of Warcraft, Blizzard has announced.
A new patch to hit before the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion will allow players to undelete their characters with all items, gems and enchantments.
This undelete function does come with a few caveats however. Players can only use it once every 30 days, and in addition, it can’t be used to bring back characters under Level 10 or Death Knights at Level 55.
Characters under Level 30 can only be undeleted within 90 days, while characters under level 50 have a limit of 120 days. Past level 50, there’s no time limit on how long a player can wait before undeleting.
Blizzard will also be holding onto names when a character is deleted, allowing a player to create a new character with the same name.
